Orchard Global Asset Management ("OGAM") is a leading, global alternate asset management firm. We have a strong investment management track record since inception including one of the best performances amongst fixed income relative value managers during the financial crisis of 2007-2009. Our returns have provided consistent alpha, low volatility and superior risk-reward for clients.

Our firm was established in 2001 by former traders, structurers and investment bankers who left Deutsche Bank AG to form their own firm and re-create the culture and performance they had generated within investment banking in a less restrictive and more entrepreneurial platform. This approach has driven the firm since inception.

In 2008, we took the next step in our evolution and, with new Principals joining the team - all industry-leading investment banking and asset management professionals, expanded globally to include offices in Asia and Europe. We believe a global footprint is the best way today to access and capture value in opportunities presented by our increasingly globally interconnected markets.

Our funds seek to deliver consistent positive risk-adjusted returns throughout market cycles with a strong focus on capital preservation. Risk management is a cornerstone of our investing philosophy. Our portfolios range from specific strategies to relative value and credit opportunity wherein we seek to optimize market inefficiencies. We limit the use of leverage and focus on fundamental value. We undertake our own credit work and due diligence, and thoroughly research each long term opportunity. We have built internal systems that are best of breed to complement our investing philosophy using the skills and experiences we have developed at major financial institutions.
